Connecticut has always been proud of its many excellent goalkeepers and goalkeeper coaches.  CT keepers have started for National Teams, won the u20 World Cup, earned High School and NCAA Div 1 All American, Div II National Player of the Year, won the NCAA Div 1 National Championship, etc - all in recent memory.  With an interest in continuing tradition, the Connecticut Goalkeeper Academy has been developed as a vehicle for long-term CT youth goalkeeper development.  Budding CT GKs can make a commitment to regular training until the day they leave for college, and beyond.  During those years, Academy students will experience a variety of GK specific training with some of the top goalkeeping minds in CT.  It doesn’t matter what jersey you wear… only that you wear the gloves.
